Last Saturday, a sister sent me an email about Phyllis Ford's recent FB post on 24 Feb. It was about arising to possess our gates now. There comes a time, when the season is ripe and the Lord is saying: Arise and possess the gates. This was what she posted.
I woke up very early this morning and the Lord said, “Arise, pray and possess the gates.” I knew it was key instruction. David would always inquire of the Lord as to whether it was time to go up or not. Strategic warfare is just that. . . . strategic. Battles can be won many ways.
Sometimes, it will focus on moving in a direction of unity and love without being divided in what we do, think, or say. It can be casting down imaginations, thoughts and perceptions that might try to invite themselves in our way seeing or thinking about a thing. There are so many ways. . . . . a wise person once said to me, “If you can’t dance, you can’t fight.”
There comes a time, when the season is ripe and the Lord is saying, Arise and possess the gates. Gates mean many things, it has everything to do with entry, access, and dominion. I heard the Lord saying, “Press in because He is about to release abundance (spiritually and naturally) upon His people.”
I have been waiting and watching for this time. Two scriptures came to my heart: So I stationed armed guards at the most vulnerable places of the wall and assigned people by families with their swords, lances, and bows. After looking things over I stood up and spoke to the nobles, officials, and everyone else: “Don’t be afraid of them. Put your minds on the Master, great and awesome, and then fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes." Nehemiah 4:13-14 The Message Bible.
“I’ll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I’ll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances. I’ll lead you to buried treasures, secret caches of valuables — Confirmations that it is, in fact, I, God, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. It’s because of my dear servant Jacob, Israel my chosen,” Isaiah 45:2-3 The Message Bible.
Time to position ourselves for serious prayer through (praise/ worship/ word). Get ready as the Lord leads you in intercession to kick some stuff out of the way. Warriors – Arise and possess your gate!
I was in KL over the weekend when I saw this word and I knew the Lord was saying something to me. When I first read this, my heart leapt because I knew He is telling me now is the time to possess this inheritance. I have been waiting and watching for this time and now it has come. God is finally giving me instructions to arise and possess the gates. It sounds like the blowing of the ram's horn before the walls of Jericho came tumbling down. He wants me to press in because He is about to release abundance. This is a double confirmation about how my set time has come.
When I was shopping in KLCC, I walked into a children's clothing store and it was playing the song 'The Final Countdown'. My spirit leapt when I heard this song because I was just singing this song a few days ago. When I heard this song, I felt a strong unction in my spirit that this is really it. I have really come into a set time. This is really the final countdown. I also thank God He reminded me again today with Pastor Joel's sermon 'Your set time for favour'.

SOMETHING THAT I HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED UPON
Recently I kept hearing this word about ten years. It has been popping out more frequently than before so it caught my attention. When it first came out, it was in Pastor Joel's message: God can do more in a year what you couldn't do in ten years. Then I was just talking to a mum about whether a ten-year age gap between the kids will be big. She said it wasn't too big as she heard of others with 17 years' difference. Her old kids have an age difference of 14 years.
After that I kept seeing ten years in TV drama and in messages that I read. Today Pastor Prince's meditation talked about how a couple tried to conceive for ten years but no success. But when the mil pleaded the blood of Jesus over them, she conceived supernaturally! It was like what the nine plagues couldn't do, the blood of Jesus did it!
God also impressed upon me to celebrate the end of cycles and that He has brought me out of the old into a set time of favour. He has finally completed the work which He started in me for the last season. I have come out of the narrow place, the birthing canal into a broad and spacious place. Like Doug Addison said, Feb is a month of old things dying but the result will bring new life. No wonder I have been impressed upon the newness of all things again recently.
Another thing that I came upon was this: it's only a matter of time that you see the manifestation, that you possess your possession. I wondered why this phrase caught my attention this year. Then I realised why...God has already released the word when Pastor declared this is the year of possessing your possessions and it is really a matter of time that this word manifests in the physical world. It also occurred to me that I have really come into my set time, the appointed time for the manifestation.
And yesterday I saw Lonnie Mackley's word which was so spot on. He was talking about God resurrecting our Lazarus, quoting John 11:40, a verse God had been impressing upon me since 2010. It also reminded me of how I crucified this dream with tears in end 2012, not knowing if He would resurrect it. I had to crucify it because it was causing me too much pain and heartache.
Now I understand why God allowed me to do that. I held on to this dream so tightly that it caused my hand to bleed. And it competed for attention and prominence with God. I had to see that my life would go on without this dream being fulfilled and that the only thing I need is Jesus. Indeed I found myself living a happy and fulfilling life while waiting for this dream to come to pass.
But then I was very encouraged by this statement Lonnie Mackley made: Now God is bringing this dream back to life. But He wants me to hold onto it lightly. Else the enemy will be able to press my button even after the manifestation comes. This was also a prophetic word about how when I see this promise manifest, great will be my joy and great will be the faith it creates in me and for those who witness it. Just to share what Lonnie Mackley wrote on 20 Feb, titled 'Your Lazarus's will Live Again.'
I have felt your pain and heard your cries in the night as you have grieved over all that has seemingly died in your life. You saw everything that you held dear and hoped for seemingly dashed to pieces before your very eyes. But I would tell you this day that I am the God of resurrection, and I bring new life from that which seemed dead. Look to Me now and trust Me to bring back to life all that I have given you, nothing shall be lost.
It has been good that these things that you love and hold so dear have left you for a season because you held on too tightly to some of them, and they competed for attention and prominence with Me. You had to see that your life would go on without them, and that all you need in life is found exclusively through Me. You had to see that I can control and manage all things, and that you can trust Me with all that which you love.
Now as I bring these things back to life, I would have you hold onto them lightly. For all things dwell in My hands, and they are mine to give life to, or remove life from. I cause things and people to be attracted, or be repelled, according to my good purposes and plans. Trust Me that what lives in your life is by My doing, and what is taken from your life is also decided by Me. And know that My motives are always good in everything I do concerning you.
Even as Lazarus was brought back to life and there was great joy, even so it will be with you as you see your Lazarus's brought back to life, and great will be the faith it creates in yourself and in others who witness it. I even allowed your family, friends, and others to witness the death of these things, so that they could witness them being brought back to life. They will surely know that I am the God that lives, and they will believe that I bring new life, from death.

MONTH OF ADAR
I haven't really been looking at the significance of Hebrew months for a while. I couldn't even remember which month it was in Jan! But recently I was impressed to find out which month is Adar. When I googled, I was surprised to find that Adar has begun on 9 Feb! From my experience, Adar has always been the happiest month for me, as it is for the Jews. Many good things manifested in March like our wedding anniversary, my publishing contract, like open door to Heng's position in this company, like the bonus shares etc. It was a month of celebration.
I read this from Arise 5 blog which talked about Adar 1. Adar is the twelfth month of the Hebrew year. The month of Adar usually has twenty-nine days. This year is a leap year, so Adar will have thirty days. The Jews call it Adar 1, because every leap year there is a thirteenth month called Adar 2. I am excited when I discovered that I entered into Adar because God is turning my situation around for me.
This is the month of the tribe of Naphtali, which means “sweetness to me.” It is a time of celebration. Your curse is overturned and things become sweet to you. In Deuteronomy 33:23, we see that Naphtali is “satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord.” The more we celebrate this, the more we experience His sweetness and goodness.
The month of eloquent communication and expressions of joy and laughter. “Naphtali is a deer let loose; he uses beautiful words” (Gen. 49:21). We need to be in “celebration mode.” We need to celebrate the end of cycles. Proper celebration of each cycle gives us the faith for the next cycle. Declare that God has brought you out of the old and into a time of great favor. Also note that God will give you words and ways of expressing joy and laughter.
The month of the letter kaf [כּ], which resembles a mask. This is a time of removing any “masks” and entering into laughter. You need to remove any masks to enter into the true joy of who you are. Ask the Lord to remove any false perceptions or hidings of who you. Receive your true identity and enjoy it.
A month to overturn worry and anxiety, including worry about your supply. If you get rid of anxiety, then you can see your supply. If you are ruled by worry, you will not be able to see the provision God has for you (Phil. 4:6–7).
The month of laughter, abounding joy, the witnessing of life entering into darkness, the advantage of light over darkness, the power of barrenness being broken. No matter what the darkness is, laugh and watch God permeate it. Light permeates darkness when we see this, and barrenness will break. Begin to laugh at fear (Ps. 34:4–6).
The month that Moses was born. Thus, it means that your deliverance is forming. See that deliverance is already forming for you. Take a look at whatever is holding you captive and declare God’s truth. Declare that He is already forming deliverance and freedom for you, and that it is on the way (Exod. 2:10).
A month to develop your war strategy against the anti-Christ spirit. Don’t let the giants produce fear in you; guard against idolatry. Amalek will try to come. Don’t end the year in fear. See Exodus 17:8–16. Note that Amalek attacked from the rear. Be sure you are not “holding back.” Also, when Moses’s hands were held up, Israel would prevail. Keep your hands held high in faith and joy. This will keep us in the Lord’s victory.
This is the month of Pisces, the fishes. Finding your supply in the “hidden” world (e.g., the gold coin in fish’s mouth). There is an identity for you in the invisible world. Don’t always be practical (having a desire to conform and be accepted). No, we must find our spiritual identity. The demons know and can see that identity—so, we might as well embrace it! Many people undervalue themselves. We must not do that. Remember, you are not just a “fish.” You have a gold coin—faith and the presence of God—inside you.
Your true identity should begin to be reflected this month, both spiritually as well as physically. God has established cycles to help us come into our identity—the spiritual will be reflected in the physical. Let the real you (beloved of God, bold warrior, one who walks in wisdom and love) come forth.
