PREPARATION FOR JOSEPH PEOPLE: PART V

Dear brothers and sisters, I have just uploaded the five session of my sharing for Joseph people. In this session, I am focusing on praying in the Spirit and also the power of our tongues. I believe we are in a season when praying in tongues cannot be overemphasised. God is also showing us the power of our declarations and decrees. Hope you will be blessed!

THE MATRIX

Last night while praying in tongues I was impressed upon the word ‘Matrix’. I looked up the meaning and it says ‘the cultural, social or political environment in which something develops.’ And it comes from a Latin word called womb. A matrix is actually a womb. It is also the substance between cells or in which systems are embedded. 

Well the reason why I thought about matrix was how I realised over the last few months that we have been indoctrinated with the teachings of this world. It could be our upbringing, the culture and traditions that we grew up with. Plus our own life experiences. But these are not the truth. Only God’s word is truth. 

 

It takes a renewing of our minds to accept what God is trying to tell us (Romans 12:2). In the movie ‘The Matrix’, the red and blue pill was presented to Neo, the protagonist of the story. One pill could bring him to a rabbit hole of rude awakening to the world he lived in but that was the truth. If he took the blue pill he would return to a state of ignorant bliss. 

 

In The Matrix, Neo hears rumours of the Matrix and a mysterious man named Morpheus. Neo spends his nights at his home computer trying to discover the secret of the Matrix and what the Matrix is. Eventually, another hacker, Trinity, introduces Neo to Morpheus.

Morpheus explains to Neo that the Matrix is an illusory world created to prevent humans from discovering that they are slaves to an external influence. Holding out a capsule on each of his palms, he describes the choice facing Neo:

 

‘This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember: all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more.’ 

 

As narrated, the blue pill will allow the subject to remain in the fabricated reality of the Matrix; the red serves as a "location device" to locate the subject's body in the real world and to prepare them to be "unplugged" from the Matrix. Once one chooses the red or blue pill, the choice is irrevocable.

 

This year I felt like I had taken the red pill because I had a rude awakening to the world I lived in. I was shocked to learn that what I thought about the world was not the case. There are so many hidden evils, injustices and discrimination even right in my own backyard. I might have been too naïve to believe what people tell me as I always look for the good. Yet God is telling me that things are not always what it seems to be. 

 

I wondered if it was good to be living in ignorant bliss so there would be less discomfort but I remembered Hosea 4:6 says ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge’. Hence the dangers of choosing to remain in ignorance. What you don’t know could hurt you or burst your bubble. Would you rather be prepared or be caught by surprise like birds caught in the net? 

 

What then is the matrix in today’s context? Could it be the system we are unconsciously born into? Increasingly during this year I realised that we, even the believers could unknowingly be subjected to an external influence that we are not aware of. In recent months, we have heard of many conspiracy theories and the New World Order. At the apex of the evil is this organisation called Illuminati. I had to look up the internet for the definition.

 

“Illuminati" has referred to various organisations which have claimed or have been claimed to be connected to the original Bavarian Illuminati or similar secret societies, though these links have been unsubstantiated. These organisations have often been alleged to conspire to control world affairs, by masterminding events and planting agents in government and corporations, in order to gain political power and influence and to establish a New World Order. 

 

Central to some of the more widely known and elaborate conspiracy theories, the Illuminati have been depicted as lurking in the shadows and pulling the strings and levers of power in dozens of novels, films, television shows, comics, video games, and music videos. Although no one can truly verify if such secret organisations do exist, I am very sure the mastermind behind this New World order is the devil himself. 

Recent world events have opened my eyes to a reality that I never saw in my entire life. It was truly an awakening even for a mature believer like me. I might have been hoodwinked all this while. And yes I believe there is another world that we should be contending with. A system that is not flesh and blood but originating from the principalities and the dark powers of this earth. The spiritual world is very real whether we see it or not. 

 

I don’t want to give too much weight to the enemy but it suffice to bring a point across that there are more things going on in the world that we think. It is true that God is causing His people to awaken to current events in the world, to their lives and to the financial plan God has for His Kingdom. Those that are awakening during this time, who feel like their eyes are being opened to truth they haven't seen before, will feel led on their journey by God's prompting. 

 

For the past few months, I have been on a path of discovery I never thought I would be on, researching answers that I would never bother in the past. I never used to care about world affairs or politics but the Lord has been bringing such things to my attention. After all I see myself as a simple homemaker. Yet during this time He is accelerating the process and directing my path to discover revelation and truth. It is now time for the church to be awakened to His plan, and so He's making it possible. I was once comfortable in my complacency, apathetic to what was really going on around me.

 

And like in the movie ‘The Matrix’, this revelation is irrevocable. Once you see it, you cannot ‘unsee’ it so to speak. You cannot pretend that things are still the same and go back to your old ways. The purpose that God is revealing this truth about the world is so that I can have a response and play a part in the future. Right now I am still on the path of discovering the truth and what I am doing is to ask for more wisdom and revelation. The next step would be to partner with God to know how to pray for His kingdom coming on earth. To pray out His will on earth as it is in heaven.  Yes it had been an unnerving experience but truly the adventure of my life.

MOVING UP TO THE THIRD LEVEL OF CHAMBER

I just watched the video broadcast by Pastor Darren and Pastor Sam (GRC). Pastor Darren was revisiting the theme of the year. The sermon was preached by Pastor Prince on 5 Jan. It was so anointed! He talked about how the first four months people in the world were in such great fear as the virus raged and became more contagious.

But the Lord has already got Pastor to prepare us by partaking of Holy Communion in 2019. The year of latter rains brought forth grain, wine and oil for this very purpose. In a time when people’s health was being attacked, we can enjoy divine health and protection through the Holy Communion. Pastor also reminded us about the teaching of anointing oil in Feb this year. 

 

The next four months of the year from May to Aug were a time of lockdown for most part of the world. There wasn’t so much about the fear of the virus taking lives or people getting infected but more of the mental health at risk when people were forced to stay at home. That was when the people of God got to enjoy supernatural rest as we moved up the second level of the chamber.  

 

Instead of being stressed up about staying at home, the Lord turned it into a needful time of seeking Him and restoring of family relationships. For some of us the increased time spent with our family members improved our bonding and led to days of heaven on earth. In a sense we didn’t have to worry too much about what was going on in the world because we knew the Lord was protecting our households with His previous blood. 

 

Then as the world begins to start opening up, cities coming out of their lockdowns, the worry has now turned into something else. At this point in time, people are less afraid of the virus taking lives than losing their jobs or facing an economic downturn. The aftermath of the pandemic is now taking its toll on the economy and experts said it could be worse than the Great Depression in 1930s. Only God knows how long it will take for the world economy to recover! 

 

So yes in this last part of the year, we are moving up the third level of the chamber, where the gold and treasuries are stored. At a time when people are fearful of financial provisions and how to feed their family, the children of God are already well provided for by our loving Father. This pandemic and economic downturn was no surprise for Him. He has already gone ahead of us and made our paths smooth.

 

And as we arise out of our rest in the Lord, now is the time for action. Now is the time to position ourselves for the transfer of wealth. Now is the time to occupy our land and take hold of our territory! The enemy was so terrified of God’s timing for us and he was coming hard against the manifestation of God’s blessings and promises in our lives. He did not want us to occupy our territory and use our authority against him. 

 

Pastor Daren said the world got it in reverse. They went straight for the gold in the third level, at the expense of their rest and their health. God’s plan is always for us to progress step by step, as He leads. God wants us to focus on building our health. We do not have to chase after the gold and riches. As we rest in the Lord, He will cause the wealth of the unrighteous to come to us. The blessings of the Lord adds no sorrow to us.

 

Then I saw this message being circulated amongst our church members. 1 Sep is the 1st day that we will officially move up from the Priests’ resting room (2nd level) to the storehouse of God’s good treasures! If the 3 levels of temple chamber are divided according to the 12 months of calendar:

 

1st level - Jan to Apr

2nd level -May to Aug

3rd level - Sep to Dec

 

So we are at the 3rd level of God’s storehouse of provision NOW! Therefore, expect the transfer of wealth from the World to His beloveds and the church to happen starting from now! Hallelujah! What a privilege to be children of God!

 

Get ready to receive the provision of God from His storehouse as this declaration of Abba God’s incredible blessing over you goes forth! Praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness for the Word in Philippians‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Lord, thank You for showing us that You have moved us up to the 3rd level of God’s chamber - the Storehouse- to receive Your provision of overflowing blessings and riches in glory! We believe and declare it to do so!

CO-LABOURING WITH GOD

Recently I had been thinking about this notion about co-labouring with God. I was trying to distinguish between what blessings (like our salvation, deliverance and healing) coming to us freely because of the finished work in Christ and what blessings we need to co-labour with God. I believe God is making it more clear to me in the last few years.  

Now it occurred to me that there are things we have to co-labour with God. You may have heard this saying: without God we cannot, without us He will not. I believe one of the things we have to cooperate with Him is in the area of our divine destiny. This isn’t something that will just drop unto our laps by chance. Do you know why?

 

It is because the enemy will work overtime to stop you from walking in your calling. He will put up a fight. He will try relentlessly to take you out or make you ineffective. The enemy is fighting against the timing of God and the manifestation of His promises in your life. The enemy is terrified of you stepping into that territory and the realm of increase. That is why some people lose faith in prophetic words. They think that once the word is given, things will just fall into place. 

 

What they don’t know is that there is usually a season of contending for the prophecy. They have to war against the enemy’s opposition and stand their ground. Fight the good fight of faith. So the next question is why does God allow such a time of testing and contending? Why can’t He just deliver us from the enemy instead of letting us face the giants? Why can’t He just wipe out the giants at a snap of His finger?

 

Well, just like He told the Israelites that the land had already been given to them but they still had to physically take it. God didn’t remove all the giants at once. Instead He was teaching them to rely on Him every step of the way as He guided them in combat strategy to take the land. Unlike the deliverance from Egypt, where God knew the children of Israel would not have the power to stand up against their Egyptian taskmasters. 

 

Hence He performed mighty works to deliver them and destroyed the Egyptian armies in the Red Sea. Yet that wasn’t His best for them. He needed His people to grow strong. Even if He killed all the giants in the promised land, there would still be wild animals that the children of Israel had to contend with. He had to cause them to take the land little by little because the population of the Israelites wasn’t populous enough to occupy all the land.

 

You see, that is why the Lord had to build our faith little by little in order to grow us to the level of maturity to take our own promised land. Because if our character wasn’t strong enough, the success might only be temporary. We might take the land only to have it stolen by the enemy again. In the book of Joshua, it said that when the Israelites took the land but didn’t occupy it, very soon the giants came back to dwell on it like Mount Hebron. 

 

I have learnt that though this earth belongs to God, the title deed was given to the enemy because of Adam’s high treason. Adam gave over the right of this earth to Satan. But thank God that Jesus took it back for us. Yet in the natural there are portions of this world that still belonged to Satan’s dominion so we have to cooperate with Christ to take it back. So even though we already have an inheritance in Christ, we still need to co-labour with God to take back that inheritance. There is still a part for us to do. 

 

Well then some may ask: isn’t it all a finished work at the cross? Why then do we still have to play a part? Isn’t that considered works? Not that isn’t works or our flesh. That is the part about working out our salvation in Christ. (Philippians 2:12) We are not working for our salvation but working it out. Just like all authority has been given to us by Jesus but how many of us are walking in that authority? How many of us are exercising that dominion? 

 

The grace of God is not passive. It isn’t us sitting there doing nothing. It is us actively obeying and working hand in hand to establish His kingdom on earth. To see His will being done on earth as it is in heaven. Some people may say: Well, I am not cut out to be a soldier. I cannot fight. I am not combat ready. I am a civilian. Well, let me tell you this. You will have to learn to fight whether you like it or not. 

 

The enemy would not let you off even if you are not a soldier. He hates you because you are a child of God. As long as he can see the threat of your calling or destiny in Christ, he will take you out before you get to walk in that calling. And everyone of us has a calling, be it big or small. Everyone of us has a part to play in the body of Christ. So I exhort you to go and ask God to show your role in the body of Christ. 

 

So why it is so necessary for God to train you to a place of overcoming faith? Why is that so important? Because once you obtain victory in this area where you had been constantly bullied, God will bring you on to greater exploits in His kingdom. You can then show others how to obtain victory in the area of their bondage. You will have a breaker anointing. He is doing a hidden work of refining your faith which is far more precious than gold. 

 

Like how God has proven me time and again that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. All I had to do is to cooperate with His Spirit and success is guaranteed. God is patient with me...He can take as long as is required for this work to be completed in my life. This is more crucial than the manifestation of the promise because then I would be truly set free from the age old strongholds.
